Weatherstripping is the soft vinyl flap around the door perimeter — what actually presses against the door and the jamb to seal the opening. It's not the same as the bottom astragal (that sits in a channel under the door). Weatherstripping lives on the jamb and header, and it cracks and shrinks every Toronto winter until cold air walks right past it.
We pull the old strip, clean the jamb, and nail in fresh UV-stable vinyl cut to length. The job is usually 30–45 minutes per door. We carry black, white, and brown to match common door colours.

Different parts. Weatherstripping is on the jamb and header (the door presses against it). Bottom seal sits in a channel under the door (moves with the door). Most full seal jobs replace both.
