Smart Garage Door Setup & Repair in Toronto & GTA
MyQ, HomeLink, Apple Home — Wi-Fi opener installs and retrofits.
Call Us At (647) 763-7374 for your garage door repair and installation.

We diagnose the whole door, not just the loud part.
Smart garage means you can open the door from your phone, get notifications if it's left open, and let Amazon drop a package inside. There are two paths: a brand-new Wi-Fi-built-in opener (LiftMaster Secure View, Chamberlain B6713, Genie Aladdin) or a retrofit kit that bolts onto an opener you already own (MyQ Smart Garage Hub, Tailwind iQ3).
We handle both. For new installs we hang the opener, wire the photo-eyes, program the remotes, and walk you through pairing with the MyQ, HomeLink, Apple Home, Alexa, or Google app. For retrofits we mount the hub, wire it to your existing opener's terminals, stick the tilt sensor on the top section of the door, and join it to your Wi-Fi. Either way it works in 60–90 minutes.
We also handle the boring stuff that breaks smart-garage setups in week two: weak Wi-Fi at the opener, app accounts paired to the wrong household, and HomeLink that needs the in-car learn process on a 2024 model. All of it gets sorted on the same visit.
A proper smart garage door setup & repair visit includes:
Wi-Fi opener installation (LiftMaster, Chamberlain, Genie)
MyQ Smart Garage Hub retrofit on existing opener
Tailwind iQ3 retrofit with door tilt sensor
Phone app pairing (iOS / Android, shared household setup)
Apple Home, Alexa, Google Home integration
HomeLink in-vehicle programming (rolling-code openers)
Tilt sensor calibration and Wi-Fi signal test
Small symptoms become expensive when the door keeps cycling.
Clean process, from first call to final balance test.
Tell the dispatcher what failed. Photos help, but they are not required.
The closest stocked van gets the ticket and you get the ETA.
Spring math, cable tension, track, opener force and safety reverse checked.
You approve the written number first. Most jobs finish the same visit.

Photos from real GTA driveways, not stock libraries.
Springs cycled past their lifespan, openers that lost a logic board after a power surge, panels punched by a bumper at 2 km/h — the work in the photo gallery is the same work the dispatcher will quote you on the phone.

"Tech rang the doorbell at the 33-minute mark on a Sunday. Both torsion springs swapped, door rebalanced, opener re-paired. Quote on the driveway, invoice matched. I'm keeping the magnet on the fridge."
"Three other companies sent me to voicemail. In-Trust picked up, explained the $29 service call, diagnosed the spring system on-site, and the invoice matched the quote. No upsell, no surprise."
"Door wouldn't latch and I had a 7am meeting. They re-aligned the sensors, snugged a loose track bolt, and were back in the van in 22 minutes. Booking them for the new install in May."
Questions customers ask before booking.
Will a smart hub work on my old opener?+
Anything made after 1993 with safety photo-eyes. Older units need a new opener for safety reasons.
Does the Wi-Fi need to reach the garage?+
Yes — a strong 2.4 GHz signal at the opener. We test before we leave and recommend a Wi-Fi extender if signal is borderline.
Does smart access work in a power outage?+
No — the opener still needs power. A manual disconnect cord opens the door by hand if you're stuck.
Is it secure?+
Yes — MyQ and the major brands use rolling-code encryption and 2FA on the app. More secure than a 1990s-era remote.
