Cables, rollers & tracks — Toronto & GTA
Frayed cables, noisy rollers, bent tracks, off-track doors — repaired across Toronto & GTA. Most jobs finished in one visit.
What's included with this garage door service
Everything under cables, rollers & tracks — one dispatcher, one team, one phone call across Toronto & the GTA. Real price confirmed before tools come out.
Lift cables fray from rust (Toronto winters + road salt) or rubbing against a damaged drum. We replace cables in pairs and inspect the drums for grooving — a worn drum will eat a new cable in a year. Residential doors use 7x19 galvanized aircraft cable in 1/8" diameter; commercial steps up to 3/16" or 1/4".
Original builder rollers are usually unsealed steel — they squeal, vibrate, and shed bearings after 5–7 years. We swap to sealed 13-ball nylon rollers (10,000-cycle rated). Whole job runs 30–45 minutes per door, no rebalancing needed.
Off-track doors get the full work-up: re-seat rollers, check track for bend (replace 2" sections if needed), inspect cables for damage from the slip, re-tension springs, verify safe operation. We don't just push the rollers back in — that's a callback waiting to happen.
